From April 2024 to September 2024, the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network and its partners at ZERO TO THREE and the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging (NCBA) held a five-session learning community devoted to sharing strategies for finding, engaging, and supporting kinship/grandfamilies (families in which grandparents, other relatives, or family friends are raising children whose parents cannot).
Participants in this learning community came from a wide variety of organizations and agencies across the country that serve grandfamilies of all backgrounds. Each session featured one or two guest speakers and opportunities for networking, sharing, and idea-generation.
After the conclusion of the learning community, we prepared a toolkit to share the learning more widely. Please click the links below to access and/or download the toolkit.
