On February 21, 2024, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly, a program that includes $35 million in funding to support the development of intergenerational housing for caregivers aged 62+ who are raising children.
