This free 90-minute professional development experience provides a basic introduction to issues frequently facing grandfamilies and kin caregivers, with a focus on legal, educational, and financial needs. It is ideal for professionals who occasionally interact with grandfamilies and kinship families and would benefit from a greater understanding of the strengths and needs of these families. Organizations may wish to deliver the entire workshop in 90 minutes or use a modular approach to address each topic separately over the course of several meetings.
