In this webinar, NICWA Founder, Dr. Terry Cross, provided an overview of collaboration; what it is, why to collaborate, and how it can be successfully accomplished. We reviewed an example of one collaboration model designed to link child welfare with substance abuse treatment services that taught us about successful collaboration and key concepts. We learned building blocks for developing collaborative service approaches and discuss options for implementing, managing, and evaluating collaborative efforts.
